We Started This Because Adulting Is Weird

It started with a mug. Specifically, a mug that said something so perfectly relatable that three different friends bought it the same week. That moment sparked something bigger: what if there was a whole brand built around the humor and honesty of being a 30-something who still feels like they are pretending to be a real adult?

Almost Adult Co. is for the people who pay their bills on time but still eat cereal for dinner. For the ones who have a 401(k) but also cry during Pixar movies. For anyone who has ever Googled "how to adult" and meant it with their whole chest.

We launched on Etsy with just five designs. Today we have dozens of products across mugs, t-shirts, posters, and stickers, each one inspired by a real moment of almost-adulthood. And honestly? We are still figuring it out too. That is kind of the point.

We believe that the best products come from real moments. Not manufactured trends, not corporate boardrooms, but the actual, messy, hilarious experience of figuring out life in your 30s. Every design we create starts with a feeling that makes you go "that is exactly how I feel."
